Concept of meetups is to get together have few beers and talk about new cool technologies and trends. Someone will always give short 15min-30min introduction to subject. Introduction might be a cool demo or something. Let`s see how the concept develops. If you have something you want to hear/talk about please let me know! Meetups are organized monthly. I will try to organize a larger event twice a year. Upcoming section is subject to changes.

my name is George Tziralis, I’m the cofounder of and organizer of Open Coffee meetings in Greece (we gathered about 200 people in the previous week’s event in Athens).

I’ll be at Helsinki from 16th to 19th September, presenting an academic paper at APMS 2008, and I do wonder if there is any tech / start-up event taking place in this time frame; I’d clearly love to attend such an event and people from the local community, if that’s somehow possible.

I don’t know if there are any meetups during you visit to Helsinki. Setup one yourself? I can help by inviting people!
